Alesse bcp causes hairloss?

it has recently come to my attention that alesse birth control pills can cause hair loss. ive been on my pill for almost 2 years and not long ago my hairstylist noticed that i have a thumb sized bald/thinning spot on the left top-ish side of my head..she told me it was probably stress related and i cried.. she also said it would go away in about a month.. its been double that and im starting to wonder if maybe my pill is causing this..but ive been taking it for so long why would syptoms be showing up now? also my blood preasure is up with my paulse rasing for no reason 24/7..thats been going on for at least 3, maybe 4 months...and now with the spotting between periods showing up this month im a little worried..does anyone know what might be going on? should i try changing my pill?Alesse bcp causes hairloss?

Hair loss with Alesse (and ANY birth control pills) is rare.





Depending on your age, you may need to either switch pills or for your high heart rate/blood pressure, you may need to stop all birth control pills altogether due to a possible cardiac event (stroke, heart attack).
