Blow drying hair everyday for a guy?

My hair is kind of long in the front %26amp; im always running late so i HAVE to dry my hair very fast every morning. For the last 2 years or more i guess, I've dryed my hair on high heat until most of it is dry. I've never noticed any hair loss but sometimes my scalp will become sore or have 1 or 2 tiny tiny sore bumps on it. My hairdresser says my hair is healthy %26amp; thick but I'm wondering will this cause any damage? Like skin cancer or baldness?Blow drying hair everyday for a guy?
I have never heard of a cancer or baldness link to blow dryers. They can however be really tough on hair. Always use a thermal protective spray or serum on your hair before you blow dry to protect your hair. When possible, give your hair a break and let it air dry. Because you shampoo everyday I would suggest you invest in a good shampoo and conditioner. Redken has a great line formulated just for males, it has a great masculine smell. They are in dark gray bottles, I love the ';Go Clean';, it cleans well but isn't so harsh that you can't use it everyday. Make sure you always condition, many males skip this part, don't it is important! These products are very concentrated so use only a very small amount. Go to www.redken.com to find a salon in your area that carries it.

I am concerned about your sore bumps. If they do not heal I would recommend seeing a dermatologist.

Radiation burns (i.e. the sun) cause any type of skin cancer, so your blow dryer is not doing this. Baldness can't really be caused by blow drying either because your hair is in your scalp, but excessive brushing can pull out hair so that it looks thinner. If I were you I would not use high heat, that's what is mainly causing all of the dryness. I would recommend using the medium setting, taking a few days off a week from drying and maybe a hair heat protector. You can buy these at Drug Stores. I would recommend using one for sensitive scalp and a brand name you have heard before, also make sure you don't buy something like a straightning protector or anything of the sort and actually just get a thermal protector. Good Luck!
Blow drying your hair on high heat will not cause you cancer, I promise that. Causing baldness, I'm not sure about. However this can really cause damage to your scalp and potentially cause a bad rash or give you sores. So I would suggest using an ultimatum for doing it on high heat, and go to your local drugstore and buy a heat protectant, this can be good for your scalp too, not just hair.
