Herbal Essences: Shampoo For Long Hair?

I recently bought this product, and after using it, massive amounts of my hair fell out. What's going on here? Am I the only one this has happened to?





Also, I do love the shine I get after using Herbal Essences, and the smell is great too. Do all of their products cause hair loss? Which ones might be better for me? (I have very thick, frizzy, wavy, long hair - thanks!)Herbal Essences: Shampoo For Long Hair?

But define ';massive amounts';. We all lose up to 100 hairs a day. If it's coming out in chunks, though, that's cause for concern.





Also, based on another question you asked, you should know that Herbal Essences is a subsidiary of Clairol, which is a subsidiary of the evil Procter %26amp; Gamble (notorious for animal testing).
Different people have different reactions to shampoos. For me, pantene was AWFUL. I wouldn't recommend herbal essences or pantene, they are made of cheap ingredients that actually do more damage than good. I think aussie sydney smooth would work well for you. I use the moist and it works great. Try it, and you will like it.
You shouldn't use the cheap shampoos they have lots of wax and its like using dish soap in your hair. nothing in those shampoos are good for your hair you should use a Professional product they have much more proteins that help rebuild damage and protect it from heat etc. Go to a salon and see what they tell you to use. I like back to basics they are more natural than a lot of other brands.
Maybe that would explain why I lose so much hair now. I used to use their products a lot. I really love the smell of their shampoos and conditioners, but they never work. It sounds like it probably is causing your hair loss.
You need to stop using it right away. Start experimenting with other hair products and see if you see an improvement with your hair.
Definetly don't use pantene.


They put wax in their products which damages your hair further and makes your hair healthy.





My favorite drugstore brand shampoos/conditioners out of all that I have tried are dove and garnier!
i have the same type of hair and i use the tousle me softly and it really works for me..i know it may not help but i think you should go to a hair place and talk about it
