My hair is falling out more, im 19yrs old, what foods/anything are cheap that will help my hair grow back? :(?

I dont have money to buy enough food and it has caused my hair to fall out. I noticed that the top front of my head is more empty :( its been like this like 5 months since i moved out from my parents home. I usually only have about 40 dollars a month to buy my food. does anyone know really good and cheap foods that would really help my hair grow back? or anything cheap like taking vitamins, ';medicine';, home remedies that actually work? i usually eat/drink the following: milk everyday, cereal, cookies, sandwich, occasional fruits (apples), lettuce, ramon (its really cheap), spaghetti, i dont really drink water, rice, ham, candy, occasional chips, no soda, no juices, occasional carrots, macoroni, eggs, yellow cheese, pancakes, occasional nuts. and i usually get little sleep (7-5 hours of sleep) and dont exercise much. but in the past i still didnt do these things and i did not see a significant amount of hair loss... i dont stress much.My hair is falling out more, im 19yrs old, what foods/anything are cheap that will help my hair grow back? :(?
Ok,this all can defintiely cause hair loss, diet is KEY ofcourse.

But,just so you are fully informed, there can be other causes as well,so ask yourself the following...

Are you on Birth Control,or have you stopped using Birth Control recently?

Have you started or stopped any medications recently? This too can cause loss in some cases.

Have you ever went to the Docotor and had your HORMONE LEVELS/THYROID checked...this too can cause hair loss.

If all that seems to be okay...then yes,it boils down to nutrition...here are the BEST hair ';tonics';...

Eat lots of protein, hair is made up of protein/keratin,so get your meat, milk, eggs, fish, nuts, ect.

Take a multi vitamin every day,to make up for anything your not getting out of your every day diet.(about 7$ a bottle)

Take a hair/nail/skin formula every day.(about 6$ a bottle)

Take Omega 3,6%26amp;9 Complex every day(about 6$ a bottle)

Take Biotin 2,500 mgs per day(about 5$ a bottle)

All these are available at any drugstore.

You can massage your scalp during shampooing too(5 minutes once a day),that increases circulation, which helps w/scalp health and growth.

There is NO ';magic'; shampoo/oil,ect that will help, hair grows from the INSIDE of your body, not the ends of the hair. That's why diet is so important.

Try Loreal EVERPURE shampoo/conditioner,it is SULFATE-FREE,sulfates(sodium laurel/laureth sulfates) are BAD for your scalp/hair.They are used in cleaning products, like garage/floor cleaners, and they are in your current shampoo, can almost garuntee that(go check your lables),they are in 90% of shampoos, including Main N Tail,Pantene, ect

Oh,and as a note...vitamins work in synergy,so you must have all(a daily multi vitamin)in order for many of the others to be absorbed FULLY/PROPERLY,so just taking one or two ';random'; vitamins will not help in many cases.

Good Luck!My hair is falling out more, im 19yrs old, what foods/anything are cheap that will help my hair grow back? :(?
Well- Apple cider vinegar has been known to stimulate hair growth. You can get it at the supermarket. Just rub it on your scalp.

However- if malnutrition is the reason behind your hair loss the only thing that will keep it from falling is proper nutition. Nothing will help if you're not getting your vitamins. You should buy some ONE A DAY vitamins and take them every day. They're not as good as food, but they will help lots.
Folic acid, one pill a day. Try drinking vitamin water. I also suggest eating papaya. You have a fairly balanced diet, water is important. Eat jello, it makes your nails grow, it can't be a bad choice to start your body refueling itself. Yes, drink water with lemon juice.
your hair loss has nothing to do with food. god dang there are millions of starving people all over the earth with a head full of hair. You need to get back in school because you are dumb as hell.
40$? thats less then 2$ a day??? u cant live like that move back in until u get a real job and can support urself
maybe it is cuz u aren't drinking enough water cuz mostly water is the cure for everything and drink a lot of juice
You really need to see a doctor. Do you have health insurance?
I had the same problem, try the following tablets

1. Zinchopher (once a day)

2. Trichotone (twice a day)

Be sure to consume enough iron everyday, fruits like dates, spinach, etc are all rich in iron.

Dry and damaged hair can also cause hair to fall out, keep a little olive oil or coconut oil for a minute in the microwave and massage into ur scalp

Do not brush ur hair more than two times a day. and try and practice air drying or using the blow-drier without the heat

And water, you should be drinking about 1 litre for every 20 kgs (44lbs) you weigh, if u weigh 60 kgs (132lbs), you should be drinking about 3 litres of water a day.

A good way to check the health of your hair is to look at your nails, as they are both made of the same thing inspite of them looking different, if ur nails are shiny and lusterous, then it is due to poor maintenance that your hair is falling out.

Take care
Figure out how to get to a doctor. Only someone of that stature can figure out exactly why your hair is falling out.

I say this because my wife for a few years thought it was her diet doing something similar. Come to find out at the age of 22 she has been diagnosed with Thyroid Disease.

Its genetic though, so if not a family problem you're probably safe.

Still though, maybe you need a better job. And if you are that low.. you should look into food stamps. I had my family of 4 on them for almost 2 years. But now I can support them without the help, but it's not shamefull if you're trying to make it and need some help.

Yes you can get that type of help if you're single, just dont live above your means.

I hope it's nothing serious. Good luck.
so try this...regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks.(if your hair is really healthy then up the trims to about every 12 weeks, a trim is just a snip off the ends) if its been awhile since you have had a trim then inches may be called for to get to healthy hair. i use vitamin e on fresh washed hair.(its a vitamin that can be purchased where you buy vitamins, cut open capsule, squeeze into hand, rub hands together and apply to hair) dont message into scalp. if you get too much then just rewash it. hair will feel slightly sticky until dry then it will be nice and soft. it tames the frizzies, deep conditions and makes hair grow about three in a month. it takes about a month for the growth part of the e to kick in. the other benefits are instant. dont brush your hair but maybe once a week to message the scalp, i use a wide tooth comb at other times. brushing breaks off hair. i just started biotin vitamins going on four months ago this sat and notice and big growth spurt from that. biotin is cheap and also promotes hair regrowth and growth. i also have the biotin shampoo that i got from a vitamin store online.(puritans pride.com or vitadigest.com) five bucks for a big bottle and a big bottle of E is about 8 bucks. the biotin is about 3 bucks. i now take my fingers and message my scalp about five times a week, along with the brushing thats a good way to do it without damaging your hair. apply two or three capsules of e to dry hair and message into scalp and hair really well, put damp towel in microwave for 1 min to get hot, then quickly wrap head, a dry towel can be placed over that to help hold in the heat, leave on for 15 min, shampoo well, makes an excellent hot oil treatment. good luck, AND some people will argue about regular trims, your hair does grow from the roots, yes, but if your hair is not trimmed at the bottom, the it splits, get dry and brittle not to mention thin looking from no trims at all and frizzy. then your hair starts to break off at the bottom and giving you the appearance that it never grows. so to make hair grow as fast as possible and keep it healthy, then trims are an essential part of hair care. look on a ruler and check out less then half an inch and if your salon does not know what that is then take a ruler with you, i have. as of three weeks ago adding beta carotene vitamins to my regimen. i found out that along with the biotin it is very very good in promoting hair growth. they were five bucks for a bottle of 100. got them at walmart. the biotin and e can also be purchased at walmart, and adding all this up is pretty cheap to get great hair. i just wish the shampoo was available in the stores, but not yet.
