okay, my previous question was about whether microwave oven food causes hair loss. Most of you said no. So fine. Here's the thing: I'm working part-time and I'm dealing with a lot of stress from my boss although i'm not working everyday and I even dread going to work sometimes. As much as i hate to admit this, sometimes, I even cry but I'll get over it soon enough. But, eventhough i face a large amount of stress, it wouldnt cause that much hair loss right? cos when i was feeling stressed from studying last time, my hair doesnt fallout. So, is it really caused by stress?
Whenever I run my fingers through my hair, about 10-20 strands of hair will fall out. When i'm sleeping, my hair continues to drop. I'm really worried.
At first i went to see a doctor about this hair loss problem and he suggested that i cut my hair but even after i did so, the problem still persists. Then, i suspect it's the shampoo that i use since my friend told me she experienced the same thing when she was using the same shampoo. So, i changed the shampoo but my hair still continues to drop and there's no improvement.
I'm really worried. Should I seek consultation from a hair specialist?Help!! Excessive Hair Loss!!?
as I said - year ago I suffered from hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.
the things that really worked for me was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also I used herbal treatment - TrichoZed
It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/why.php
It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!
good luck!
not only my and my husband`s own personal experience

If it worries you that bad then for your benifit as a hair specialist, it will give you an answer either way. Stress can be the cause of just about anything. Maybe stressing over how much hair loss is even making it worse. I dont know for sure. Make sure you're eating right, try some vitamins, a shampoo thats not harsh, try and take a few deep breaths and just try to rest. If that still doesnt work as a hair specialist.
how old are you??? yes i would see a doctor .....stress can cause hair loss but that seems alil on the fast side ....if in the past year your have started birth control like depo provera that could be the cause think about any new pills you have been taking diet etc. Good Luck and make sure you use shampoo with lil alchol bellieve it or not suave has very lil alcohol and it is cheap
Following are a few things that you can try ,
1.Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables, which contain flavonoids and antioxidants that may provide protection for the hair follicles and encourage hair growth
2.Avoid pigtails, cornrows, hair weaves, braids and tight hair rollers which can pull and stress your hair
3.# Supplement your diet with the following nutrients:
* Vitamin B complex (Category A)
* Biotin (Possibly safe; orally and appropriately)
* Vitamin C (Category A)
* Vitamin E ( Likely safe if amount does not exceed the RDA; possibly safe if it does)
* Zinc (Likely safe when used orally and appropriately; likely unsafe when used orally in high doses)
4.Use shampoos and conditioner that contain biotin and silica.
Lastly if you want something that i already used and shows a good result on me for my hair loss problem .
