My rabbit has a weird skin rash what should i do?

i wanna kno if anyone has heard of something like this and what should i do...



my bunnyy has black spots around her back legs and its causing hair loss...it started off as 2 so i thought she got bit by a snake but now its spreading and i dont kno what to do.. shes acting the same but is loosing hair and the rash is spreading....HELP!!My rabbit has a weird skin rash what should i do?

Well, if you get bit by a snake %26amp;/or you are suffering from a rash and hair loss, do you not go to a doctor?



Your rabbit needs to be seen by a rabbit-savvy veterinarian to diagnose the illness and give it proper treatment.

1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) rabbit, cut up

6 peeled, sm. white onions

1 1/2 c. diced celery

4 1/2 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

2 qts. boiling water

2 c. diced carrots

2 c. diced potatoes

1/2 c. flour

3/4 c. cold water

1 tbsp. chopped parsley



Wash and dry cleaned rabbit. Place in kettle with next 6 ingredients. Cover; simmer 2 hours or until rabbit is tender. Add potatoes; blend flour and water. Stir into stew. Cook until thickened and add parsley. You might want to discard the infected area.
It could be something as simple as ringworm, but the best advice would be to give your vet a phone call and describe specifically what you are looking at.



A phone call is free. They may be able to give you info at that time, or ask you to come in with your pet. Either way, I believe the Vet is your best first choice.
u should really go to the vet or treat it with some kind of cure it sounds serious but not much... go to the vet as fast as u can and tell her/him wat u should put on the bunny to cure it or treat it good...
go to the vet, it could be something simple or something serious. dont waste time on the computer. go the vet now. you dont even have to have an oppinate.
maybe its the shampoo your using for it they have sensitive skin to certain products. id go for a consultation with a vet it could be dermatitis
