I'm losing my hair INSANELY FAST! PLEASE HELP!!!?

Hi,

I'm 22 years old and I have been losing my hair at a very alarming pace. I already went to the doctor and she just basically told me to take an appointment with the dermatologist. I have tried to see one as soon as possible...but the soonest appointment I could get was October 9th!!!!!!!!

I basically am losing clumps of hair per day...I am sooooo scared and this is just not normal. It is distinctively getting worse everyday...what should I do!?!?!!? Please help...I used to have so much hair...this has been making me soooo sad and stressed...which is also a cause for hair loss...I have no clue what is happening...I had a blood test about 2 months ago and everything was normal...The thing is by October 9th it really looks like I will be quiet bald!

However I must also point out that I have no bald spots....yet...so it is pretty much falling out uniformely.

I truly appreciate any input...thanks!I'm losing my hair INSANELY FAST! PLEASE HELP!!!?
anyway as we know hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago I suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.

the things that really worked for me was:

1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed or Provillus (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)

Those are a good products that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here

(TrichoZed鈩?will produce noticeable hair growth in 30 to 45 days. A consistent use of TrichoZed鈩?ensures permanent results within 6 months. Further use shall maintain optimal health of your hair.)

and here

(Provillus鈩?will produce noticeable hair growth in 40. A consistent use of TrichoZed鈩?ensures permanent results within ~5 months.)

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

good luck!

not only my own personal experience + working as a family physicianI'm losing my hair INSANELY FAST! PLEASE HELP!!!?
Have you been under a lot of stress lately? That can cause hair loss. Major fluctuations in your hormonal levels can also do that. Maybe a medication that you're taking? I've also heard that sudden poor nutrition may cause hair loss.
Hi there,

There are several treatment options that may help to stimulate and encourage hair growth. If hair loss occurs as a result of an underlying condition or disease, then the condition needs to be treated first. The various types of hair loss are treated with specific medication which includes antibiotics, corticosteroids, or steroid injections. For more serious episodes of hair loss, surgical procedures such as hair transplants, scalp reduction or skin grafts may be performed to replace hair loss.

Natural and holistic therapy offers a gentler alternative for people experiencing hair loss than the harsh effects of conventional medication. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies stimulate and encourage hair growth as well as support blood circulation, hormonal balance and thyroid functioning.

Herbal remedies along with good nutritional diet (supplements in case of severe deficiency or if directed by your doctor) help hair grow stronger and more plentifully by nourishing it at the roots. They achieve this by stimulating blood flow and supplying nutrients to the hair follicles and hence promoting healthy hair growth and slowing down excessive hair loss. Although the process begins within a few days, as the hair grow slowly, the results are visible only after a few months.

Herbs commonly used include Ginkgo biloba, Rosmarinus officinale and Xanthoxylum clavaherculis help to promote strong, abundant hair. Other powerful herbs such as Equisetum arvense, Avena sativa and Echinacea are effective combating hair loss and nourishing hair follicles.

Hope this helped

Good Luck!
Hair loss (or alopecia as it's called in medicine) can have many different causes.

Some skin problems can cause it (like a fungal infection of the scalp),

medications can cause it,

chemicals can cause it,

stress can cause it (this is a biggie),

hormone imbalances can cause it,

some underlying illnesses/diseases can cause it,

genetics plays a part,

even certain vitamin deficiencies can cause it (like Vitamins A, D and Vitamin H--Biotin)...the list goes on and on.

A dermatologist is a good place to start...but so might an endocrinologist (a doctor who specializes in your body's hormone levels).

I feel for you! I was on a medication that made my hair fall out like that...all over. I ended up cutting my hair really short while I was on the medication. I know how frustrating and scary it is to see your lovely locks go down the drain.

Hang in there, and try to RELAX...'cuz worrying certainly is not gonna help.
