I agree that the baby should see a vet, however, i feel there is more of a chance of one of the letter mates chewing his hair out than mites being bad enough at 2 weeks old to cause hair loss.Hair loss in Guinea Pig?
The most common reason for hair-loss in Guinea Pigs is Mange Mites. Mites are painful to guinea pigs and need to see a vet to be treated. Mites can be easily treated with ivermectin.
Your piggy could also have -- Parasites and Fungus. All these need vet treatments ASAP or your guinea pig will suffer even harsher consequences.
Fungus infections do start on the face, will go away, will come back, %26amp; go in the same routine untill you seek a vet. Please get a vet ASAP
Best of luck =D
I am by no means and expert, but our neighbors took their guinea pig into the vet after it was losing its hair and it ended up having mites. Vet gave it a couple of washes and his hair is back in, full, and beautiful. with it being a newborn there might be something else going on, but a visit to the vet should help clear things up for you.
I second the idea of checking with your vet. Mites are not uncommon in guinea pigs, and you don't want to have the others get it if you can avoid it. And if it is something else, then you can get it treated properly.
It sounds like it could be a fungal infection. Fungal infections often start on the face, and show as areas of patchy, itchy hair loss. There might also be multiple patches on the back area, arms, and legs, and especially in warm weather.

Both the lesions and the ringworm itself must be treated, and living area disinfected. Your vet might prescribe a soothing shampoo to loosen debris and help make your animal more comfortable.

You should try giving your guinea pig a nice warm bath. Use either a shampoo formulated especially for small animals, or baby shampoo. Use a shallow bowl of luke warm water, rinse, and dry thoroughly to avoid chills before returning them to their home. Avoid getting water in their ears.
Please make sure you have a look at this video that shows you how to bathe guinea pigs. It is very instructional, and it helped me a lot with learning how to bathe my guinea pig:
