Has anyone else had bad side affects on the Implanon Implant?

Hi there, I'm 17 and I had the implanon implant inserted on the 19th May, I've been having terrible side affects, for example: frequent urination, bloating, tender breasts, mood swings, hair loss, tiredness. I haven't had a period for 2 months, but I can't be pregnant because I'm protected 99.9% and the Implant causes messed up periods. Has anyone else experienced these kinds of side affects?

YES. I have been experiencing the exact same problems! It is a very scary thing to think about! It's hard to say if it is the implant itself that has caused these symptoms, or if it is an early sign as possibly being pregnant, which is confusing.





What I would do is make an appointment at the doctors and have them explain anything that you find abnormal or what you are worried about and I'm sure that they will make you feel better.
