If you scratch your cat and feel scabs, then it is either fleas or skin disease. I would recommend a visit to the vet, likewise.
Could be her diet.......could be an itch that she's biting %26amp; chewing. Have you checked her for fleas? Sometimes fleas come into a home on people's clothes, socks, etc......and we don't notice until...all of a sudden we find them on our pets!
