What was my guinea pigs cause of death?

i came home, she was laying on her side, eyes almost fully open, dead. her body was still warm like it just happened but her body was limp and she wasn't breathing, i noticed there was something kinda jelly looking like a dew drop in her butt and a little sticking out her mouth. she didnt look sick or act sick before this so this is shocking. there was also a patch of hair loss on her back near the back end, like she'd been scratching a lot in that area. it lookd wet like she used her mouth 2 scratch it. recently, the food that was available 2 her was pellets (w/ vitamin c), pineapple, and celery. the last of the hay was eaten yesterday, so shes been without hay for a day. but so have the others and theyre still alive. what happened? i didnt noticed her behavior this afternoon when woke up, but i know she was still alive. the day before she was acting normal though. i just wanna know what happened to prevent this from happening again. she was at least 4-6 months old.What was my guinea pigs cause of death?
The only way to know for sure is to have a necropsy done.What was my guinea pigs cause of death?
she would have had wet tail.


a lot of smaller pets can get this and they die over like a week of it and sometimes a day.


one thing you know they are your happy little pet and the next thing they are on their side dead.
