The depo provera shot?

I have been on the depo provera shot for almost 4 years now and would like to get off of it but I am unsure of what may happen. I have experienced many of the side effects such as weight gain, stopped periods, hair not growing, mood swings, and loss in sexual drive and would like to know if regular birth control causes any of this either? How long does it take for my body to readjust after getting off the shot? Does being on this for so long make it harder or risky to get pregnant?The depo provera shot?
you wont have a period for over a year and I'm not sure what form of birth control made me infertile but I think it was the shot or the patch. I think it does make it harder to get pregnant cause it takes a year and a half to get a period. I think weight loss will improve your chances though
