I'm starting to freak out now because before my hair was falling out a little. Its because I straighten my hair daily, blow dry it, Ive dyed it probably 4 times, and because of stress. And yeah, its supposed to grow back by now, this has happened for about 10 months that my hairs been falling out and it's getting worse.
My hair is EXTREMELY thin. When I feel the back of my head its completely flat. Now theres a gap in my bangs. I feel like its not growing back out because I have this annoying habit of picking at my head. I guess I pick at the dandruff or something, its not itchy or anything. But does that cause my hair folicols (s'cuse the spelling) to close up?
Please reccamend what I should do. I take multivitamins and have started to straighten my hair less. Plus my dark brown roots are growing out and I need to retouch them.
Whats happening! please! It freaks me out when I comb my hair and even MORE hair comes out. My hairs very weak and brittle now.PLEASE HELP MASSIVE HAIR LOSS!?
O.k this has happened to me before and now its back to normal here's how i did it:
-First I took yoga lessons to help me relax
-Then I bought some hair care products to make it stop falling out
-And I also used to pick at my head, and to cure that, on the
weekends or when i didn't have to go somewhere important i would put not so sticky tape around my fingers so that I would stop scratching it so that it grows back.
P.S Make sure not to put the shampoo in ur hair to roughly or more might fall out.
P.S.S You could also try a salon shampoo to help thicken ur hair so that you can straighten it more often
P.S.S.S Make sure NOT to damage ur hair or put any kind of products in there that is not shampoo or it might get worse
P.S.S.S.S If ur wondering how long it should take, it depends on how damaged ur hair is right now, if it still looks like u have all ur hair but its just really thin it shouldn't take long at all, but if u have BIG BIG BIG bald spots, it might take up to a year, or less if ur lucky.PLEASE HELP MASSIVE HAIR LOSS!?

Your hair is falling out because of the harsh conditions it's been forced to endure. Stop straightening; not permenantly, but at least for a while. Put everything on hold, and start treating your hair VERY kindly. :D This means massaging your scalp with olive oil to stimulate growth, eating a healthy diet with loads of fish oil and protein, and using a gentle shampoo.
You absolutely need to stop picking your hair. Everytime you do, just picture yourself bald, and that's harsh, but hopefully will stop you. When you comb, do it very gently and don't tug at knots. NEVER use a brush, your hair is too frail right now.
Once a week soak your hair in warmed olive oil, as this strengthens and nourishes your locks. Don't put too many products in, just stick to natural remedies as your hair needs very gentle treatment at the moment. Try wearing your hair in a bun to hide the roots or gaps.
Stress needs to be eliminated. Calm down; if you do all this, you can protect your hair. Set aside time each day to completely relax, whether that be reading a book, taking a bubble bath, listening to music or just enjoying a nap. Stress can do all kinds of unpleasant things to your body.
When you start straightening again (I'd say not until your hair seems to be growing back) check if you have ceramic plates on your straightener, as this is protective. Also try to use less than 200 degrees, more like 175 or 180 tops. ALWAYS use a protective serum; Chi's silky serum is very good.
Good luck. :D
