I am scared for my life right now, sick and no one knows why, please help me.?

For the last two years I have been experiencing a dull ache in my hands and feet (pretty bad), and so much muscle weakness and fatigue that it is hard to get around, sometimes causing me to be in a wheelchair, get assistance dressing and caring for myself, etc. Every once in a while, if I am doing really poor, walking just a few steps will get me out of breath, and my whole body reacts (pain, heart rate, everything) as if I have just run as far as I can without passing out. For a while I just thought it was ';in my head';, but I have gone to a counselor that specializes in chronic illness and my partner is a nurse, they have both seen me sick and heard me talk about it, and have told me this isnt like a ';stomach ache because of stress'; and they have seen people get sick from depression, etc.. and that isnt it. NOW, I am starting to accept that I'm not just crazy (which I tried to tell myself for a while) because I am losing weight (from 140-115 without dieting at all over 6 month period), I also have a loss of appetite (although I still force down food), and have lost 1/2 of my hair (not in chunks though)





I have had almost every test I can think of, tons of bloodwork that is. So far everything is normal except for one type of blood cells that are elevated and blood test that has to do with my stomach, possible inflammation i guess.





If you have ANY suggestions for help, whether thats coping, lifestyle changes, ideas for the doctors, ideas on what could be going on with my body... The doctors are giving up on me, and I dont know what to do. I am only 20 years old and this has caused me to lose my job and I am getting really scared. Scared for my life, scared because I have no idea how to change my daily living since no one has given me any real suggestions, scared because they dont know and whatever it is is getting scary.I am scared for my life right now, sick and no one knows why, please help me.?
Consider requesting a WESTERN BLOT (not just an ELISA test) for Lyme disease. M.S. and Lupus are other possibilities to explore, as well.

You said you had mono in your editied portion? Mono doesn't entirely leave your system, because it's a viral infection, and 90%+ of the adult population is infected with it by the time they are 40. Most don't exhibit symptoms, but the symptoms can flare up, and in some cases remain for many years.

See if you can get yourself into a ';Teaching Hospital';. They will work with you and help you discover what's going on with you. You seriously need ';Dr. House.'; It's a shame he doesn't exist in real life.

May I suggest you get a book which approaches illness from a spiritual rather than just a medical/physical point of view, for the medical world sees us only as physical beings whereas my own experience over four decades as a natural healer shows that any disharmonies on the inner levels of our emotional, mental and spiritual selves are often reflected as illness in our physical body..DIS-harmony, if not dealt with, eventually expresses as DIS-ease in our physical body..

I'm so sorry. This sounds like it's quite overwhelming for you. I do agree with the last post that coming at this from a spiritual point is always a good thing. Nothing is impossible with God. Pray for clarity and eyes to see and a heart to know, however, when information that is being presented to you is relevant and productive. This will lead to healing in and out. Also, take advantage of as many medical professionals and websites as possible. I applaud you for posting your symptoms on this website and I have to say they seem to be very similar to Sjogren's disease. It is an autoimmune disease that can affect one or more organs.
