i just read an article that says lifting weights will cause more hair to fall out; is this true?
it says 3 45 minute sessions a week wil speed it up, but i have some questions about that
what if u only lift for about 20-30 minute sessions? what will happen then?
also, i only saw the word 'bodybuilder'; in the article; does that mean if a person who lifts just to get stronger (which is what i do, i dont do 'bodybuilding routines'), will that still result in similar effects? i ask taht because obviously bodybuilders push themselves to do heavier weights and cause a lot more stress on their muscles and go from workout to workout, where i usually just lift with wahts comfortable (about a resistance to get 3 sets of 10) and at my own pace bewteen workouts
also, does that mean that other workouts (such as jogging, biking, swimmign, aerobics basically) will cause that same hair loss problem supposedly resulted from weight lifting for 45 minute sessions? im guesing not, since the muscle tearing is a lot less from aerobics as opposed to weight liftingWeight lifting and hairloss?
Are you SURE you read the ENTIRE article %26amp; not just taking something out of context? If they were discussing taking steroids %26amp; drugs, etc. along with weightlifting - yes - that can cause any number of problems - including hair loss. But - I seriously doubt just exercising %26amp; lifting weights for exercise will cause hair loss. Genetics rule - you cannot re-program genetics - that usually determines what route one's hair dictates.
