Rapid hair loss...help?

Im a 20 yr old male and have been taking propecia for a little more than 2 years now. I started taking it more out of precaution than actual hair loss (baldness runs in my family and I took a medication when I was younger that supposedly can cause early baldness). Recently, I got a little lazy about taking my pills (I went through 30 pills in the last 40 days and went about 4-5 days straight without taking it). I woke up this morning and felt a bald spot on the back of my head where alot of the hair converges. It wasn't completely bald but it's clear there was decent hair loss there. I immediately went to the pharmacy and got my prescription refilled so I could take it again. How is it possible to lose hair that fast and can my hair grow back assuming I keep taking the propecia?





I'm kind of freaking out and would really appreciate some help...Rapid hair loss...help?

Let me be honest: you did a HUGE mistake taking Propecia, specially if you don't suffer from hair loss.


I took it too, but quit due to the side effects.
